Solved How can I get the information from my old tmobile sim card?

Specs: Windows 64
I have a newer tmobile phone and the sim card slot on it is much smaller than the old one. I don't have an unlocked device to get the info from but I do have a computer. What can I do?

Is this a nano sim or micro sim?

Visit a Tmobile shop and ask to cut your old sim to seize ... or you can do it yourself using a scissor. It worked for me.

T-mobile will likely also be able to simply transfer the contents to your current SIM; and there is software around (legally) that allows you to access the SIM and transfer it yourself.

I would be rather cautious about simply cutting the SIM down in size physically... Get it wrong and the SIM is toast...

Also what make/model phone do you; and what is/was the phone from which it came?

In the UK (and Europe) one can unlock phones legally, take it to store (who will do what you can do yourself for a fee); and the service providers also are obliged to unlock the phone - for free. In the later case you are still obliged to honour period (or buy out) the contract if still active.
