Specs: Windows 7
hello

i would like to add a signature file to an account other than mine. this account runs all of our critical batch. i would like to avoid logging in interactively if possible, as this account had not had an interactive login in 20 years. BUT, Mail seems to require an interactive login to make this change. thoughts?

log into the account and perform the "SET SIG filename" command once. This will setup the signature file. I tested this with batch access and mailing messages included the signature.

Yes, you must set this up initially by logging into the account. Using hte /NOSIG on any mail command will prevent the use of the signature file for that occurrance.

Of course You can do it in batch. Just create a small commandfile like this

$ MAIL
SET SIGNATURE_FILE file-name
$ EXIT

Make the file readable by the target account,
and SUBMIT/user=serviceaccount it.
