Put a SUBMIT command for itself in the command-file like that:

$ me = f$environment("PROCEDURE")
$ submit/after="TOMORROW+2" 'me'

to run the procedure the next day at 2:00h.

put the submit command at the begin of the procedure to run it regardless of successf.
Put it at the end, then it will be submitted only if there is no error.

The VMS documentation (HTML and PDF) is
http://h71000.www7.hp.com/doc/index...
"VMS users guide" and "DCL dictionary" especially.
Then there is always VMS HELP, for this case
HELP LEXICAL and HELP DCL_TIPS

In the above resubmit You may want to get the command-file specification without the version number (;ver): then You can edit the command-file one day and the new version will be submitted the next day instead of the version first submitted. Look at the f$parse() lexical function !
