Specs: Windows 7
I have tried to write a formula for the following but could not succeed:If A1>=160000 but <360000 and B1=”January-December” outcome should be “125” And if A1<160000 result should be “0”And if A1>=360000 and B1=”March” the outcome should be “300” And if A1>=360000 and B1=”April-February” the outcome should be “200”I had tried to nest the following two formulae but couldn’t.=IF(AND(A1>=160000,A1<360000,B1=”JANUARY-DECEMBER”),”125”,”0”=IF(AND(A1>=360000,B1=”MARCH”),”300”,”200” Please help me in writing a nested-IF formula for this. B1=”JANUARY-DECEMBER”Unless cell B1 contains the Literal String of Text Characters: JANUARY-DECEMBERyour formula will fail. What is the data in column B?As a quick work around, since you are looking for the entire Year, justcheck to make sure B1 is Not Blank:B1 <> ""See if that helps.MIKEhttp://www.skeptic.com/

Did you try my suggestion of testing if not blank like:=IF(AND(A1>=160000,A1<360000,B1<>””),”125”,”0”MIKEhttp://www.skeptic.com/
