Hi, I have a document that's a full page feature sheet for a new home, full colour background and all, text and pictures included. It looks fine and is all centered on the page perfect borders, document is ready to go. I click print preview or print the document and it cuts the bottom off about 1/2 an inch.

I called microsoft directly and they wanted to charge me 50 bucks to help because it's oem software, or refer me to dell who was closed at the time...

Please, any help would be fantastic!
Thank you in advance
Rob. A

Have you tried changing the margins?

I have but it seems to make no difference. All it says is it's outside the printable area but when I print it still looks the same.

Yep. That's why it's viewing okay, but printing two pages. View the Document in Full Screen Reading view and see how it looks.

Then you need to adjust the data so that it appears correctly.

Ok, it looks like some or all of my problem could be coming from the printer. it's an HP Officejet L7700. There seems to be some invisible force operating between it and word that is not allowing this document to print properly. I found one option though because I've seen other people with similar issues, I had to change an option on the printer itself. From printers and faxes or control panel to printers you can access the printer itself, I then went to printing preferences, ( you can do it from word too but I can't remember how atm). clicked the advanced tab at the top and turned minimize margins ON, default was off. this fixed my margin problem and now I believe there's something wrong with the format of my document, which i'm working on fixing now.
