Specs: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, 2.394 GHz / 3070 MB
This is very strange but maybe others had similar problem.
Used a Newsletter Word 2007 template. Background was white.
Completed the Newsletter (14 pages). Saved it as PDF.
Displaying it on the screen it shows a light yellow background. If I print
the PDF file it prints with yellow background.
Where did I get the color from? How to avoid it?
Is this a problem or I did something stupid?

Have you tried creating another one to see if the behavior repeats?

Do you have a third-party pdf writer that you can try, or just the pdf add-in for 2007?

I am using Microsoft downloaded Templates and then saved in Word 2007 as PDF. As soon as it is saved, it changes the color to yellow. It does it with any template selected.

How about in Excel?

You could uninstall the pdf add-in and reinstall it...

Grey,
The yellow appearance is something the designer of the template your using specified for "Web Layout." Basically to put a yellow tint on the web page should you use the template for such a purpose. To fix please follow these steps:
1. Go to the View tab
2. Click Web Layout button
3. Go to the Page Layout tab
4. Click the Page Color button and choose No Color option
5. Go back to the View tab and choose Print Layout button
