|My own - albeit,limited - experience with MS-Office\Outlook when downloading a whole slew of mail from the on-line (pop3) server is that it frequently brings in quite a lot, then stops... Sometimes simply clicking on the download mail or whatever button etc. will restart the stream, sometimes not. Occasionally restarting Outlook will bring in more, sometimes not. I seem to recall (from somewhere) that occasionally pop3/on-line mail system can't or won't deal with a heavy and continuous stream/download of mail from the server(s) and they will simply hang; overloaded as it?|
Certainly my experience with Yahoo mail and associated variants supports the latter observation above.
