Where can I buy the original disks for Peachtree Classic 12?

February 14, 2017 at 17:02:00
Specs: Windows XP
My Peachtree Classic 12 was corrupted in a recent hardware crash, and I need to reinstall the whole application. The crash also destroyed all back-ups, except for some external ones dated 2014. I cannot find the old disks. Does anyone here have them, or know where I can buy them? Thanks.

Peachtree software was acquired by Sage in 1999.

You can purchase similar software from them:

I'd start with eBay.

Doing the best I can here... And remember, there's always more than one path to success. :)

I'm aware of this, but Sage doesn't sell this version, and I need the exact version. It's very old.

What is the file format of the data disks you still have?

I don't have the disks. That's the problem. The backups, themselves, were destroyed by one of my employees who was trying to fix the problem. I need to put it on XP, which I have on an old computer, and is the most recent OS that PC12 will work with to print. Or, so the forums say. But, without the original installation disks, I don't have a system that I can enter data into. I have an external HD with backup dating back to 2014. That is what I will have to use if I can even find the Version 12 disks. Sage has been no help. The backups I have are data only, and need the application to work. I don't really want to start from scratch with an entirely new Version (which would be designed after QuickBooks) that I will have to install, and learn before I can even make opening entries, based on previous financials. Any advice would be helpful.
