what is a FREE system tray based mail notifier for gmail?

Specs: Windows XP, 3.4/ 1 gig
what is a simple FREE email tray icon based email notifier for multiple gmail accounts to alert me of mail in the tray, in the gmail home page and my email client? xxxxxx@gmail.com. I need to enter multiple gmail addresses into the notifier if needed including my ISP account. All I need the notifier to do is allert me of new mail by displaying a thumbnail, and/or sound. I will then use the icon or desktop to open the email client or google/gmail page. My previous email client included such an icon. It has since stopped working. No other client leaves such a icon in the tray. I have found none that can handle multiple acconts.

I have edited your post by altering your clear text email address. We do not want this forum to become known as a place where email addresses can be harvested. Once the bad guys start hanging around, it's really hard to get rid of them.

Not a problem. The issue is that I have downloaded the latest version of GMAIL NOTIFIER. The issue is that in the icons message dialog box, only my primary emaill is listed after I enter it. There does not seem to be a way to enter my other 3 addresses, 2 gmail one my isp. In settings in gmails inbox page I selected ENABLE POP and IMAP, entered my 3 other accounts, confirmed those addresses. I have access to all 3 gmail accounts in GMAIL but NOT in the notifier. I also have two CLIENTS, OUTLOOK EXPRESS 6, and EM CLIENT app. Both allow all 4 addresses to be read and sent from. The notifier only allows reading my primary and then deleting all or some at will. This is fine if need be. Any solutions? I have seen screen shots of multiple accounts in the app.
Issue fixed. Addresses are added using the icon. It apparently accepted my 3 gmail and one isp address in the screen. Only time will tell if it actually checks all four. If not I still have my client and gmail page.

I just read that your issue is fixed, however I will leave this post here so you have more options if needed.

Have a look at this:

It might be exactly what you need. Not sure if it accepts multiple accounts from a single webmail provider but it's worth a gander plus it's free.

The reviewers seem very happy with it.

Snapfiles is one of the few trusted sites that I use for hosted software.

If you decide to try the software try and leave a review. It helps the developer and keeps the site alive.

Edit: here is another one hosted at snapfiles, also free:

Above last updated in 2012 so the first might be a better choice as it appears to still be supported by the developer.

Thanks. I tried EMAIL TRAY and discarded it. I have seen HOWASRD but have not tried it. I will stick with Gnotifier for now. It flashes when new mail arrives, which I like. The only issue is that when I try to open an email in THUNDERBIRD to the website from where it came the email does not transfer. I need to go to the site and open MY MAIL or ALERTS and read it there. For now TB is also a notifier. I checked the settings both in TB and GMAIL for all accounts. They are correct. A bit of an inconvienence but not a deal breaker.
