What Fax server is good?

March 30, 2010 at 02:39:38
Specs: Windows XP
These days, I am considering buying a fax server,
also called fax software. But when I google it by
the world "Fax server", these are so many! I just
have no idea to choose one..
Can anyone offer some suggestions?
PS: I am using Vista.

What are you intending to use the Fax Server for.

If it is just to send faxes from your PC, then use the built-in fax printer. I don't have Vista, but I assume that it has a fax printer similar to XP.

Maybe you can try Joyfax. I think it can meet your needs. Just
test the trial version..

I think what you want is an online fax service and not a fax server.

"A fax server is a set of software running on a server computer which is equipped with one or more fax-capable modems (or dedicated fax boards) attached to telephone lines or, more"

To make it short, its a server computer with the task of being a fax server (usually in big companies).

Anyways, check out Onesuite online fax service, its prepaid, cheap and reliable based on my experience.
