In Excel 2003, customized menus are stored in a .xlb file in:

C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel

Macros are usually store in a personal.xls file in:

C:\Documents and Settings\david_marulli\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART

However, you (or someone) would have to have manually created the personal.xls file and stored it there and then stored the macros in the workbook. The xlb file is automatically created and updated whenever a menu is changed but the personal.xls is not.

In 2007/10 I believe there is a .xlb file for the menus as well as a .QAT file for the Quick Access Toolbar.

See here for more info:

As far as your personal.xls file, 2007/10 uses a personal.xlsb file instead. The xls file will work, but it throws up a version error every time you open Excel 2007/10.

You can supposedly copy the macros from the personal.xls file to the personal.xlsb file and that should work, but do some more research to make sure. I haven't done it on my system yet, but that's my understanding.
