Specs: Windows XP
I'm trying to figure out a way to update a excel file with the changes from a new file. Doing both removing rows and adding rows. I have a master spreadsheet that I'm only concerned about one column to compare. it has job numbers in it. the master file has information typed into it on a regular basis. the new file will have more job numbers added to it and some job number deleted from it. is there anyway to do this so i don't loose what has been typed into the master file. if you need more info or example file let me know

I'm totally confused between "a file", "a new file" and "a master file"

You want to update a excel file with the changes from a new file.

You are Doing both removing rows and adding rows.

You don't (want to) loose what has been typed into the master file.

If you don't want to loose what's in the master file, what file do you want to update by "removing rows"?
