I’m trying to copy/paste something from OpenOffice swriter to TextPad; I copy to clipboard, but in Textpad, when I paste (Edit|Paste or ctrl-v), Textpad gives me the message “The clipboard is in use by another process.” Seriously, this makes NO SENSE. Any ideas what’s causing this and/or (more importantly) how to FIX/AVOID it?
Thanks!

Click Start
Click Run
Type: clipbrd
If the clipboard comes up, delete everything.
Even if you can’t see anything, click the Delete Key, (looks like the letter X on the task bar.)
See if that helps.
