Hi everyone!

I'm thinking on how to put in Excel file the text like e.g. "Average cycle time is" and the calculation result e.g. F23/E23 in the same cell so that it looks like :
Average cycle time is 150 or so.

Is it possible at all?

Thanks a lot for any ideas!

Use either one of the following formulas:

=CONCATENATE("Average cycle time is ",F23/E23)
="Average cycle time is "&F23/E23

To follow-up on lantere's response, if you want to control how the result of the calculation looks, use:
& TEXT(F23/E23, "0.00")

TEXT will accept a variety of number formats - just like cell formatting of numbers.

You can also continue your message like this:
="Average cycle time is " & TEXT(F23/E23, "0.00") & " seconds"
which gives you:
Average cycle time is 150.00 seconds
