The more detail that you provide, the easier it will be for us to help you. Please keep in mind that we don't know anything about your work processes or what applications you are using.

You ended your OP with: "I will mention first day of the month in another sheet"

Your use of the word "sheet" seems to indicate that Excel is somehow involved in this but we can't be sure since you haven't told us what applications you are using. If you could supply some more details about your current set-up and what you are trying to accomplish we will do our best to help you meet your goal.

If you are using Excel and you need to post example data, such as what you did in your OP, please click on the link at the end of this reply and read the instructions on how to post example data in this forum. Be sure to include Row numbers and Column letters as shown in the example. That will make it easier for us to discuss your data, since we can refer to specific rows, columns, etc.

In addition, if a macro is required, we will need that type of information before we can write any code.

sorry for the short details, yes, its in excel. I have routine tasks, i want to send reminder one day prior on the particular due dates. If this due date concept doesnt work, i can specify exact dates. Only thing is i need one day prior email notification for the due task automatically. Below the sample data.

Process	Due dates
BB	last week Monday
Home	last week Monday
H Accrual	last week Monday
JE	last week Monday
CC	First week Wednesday
Citi	Last week Wednesday
C Reversal	First week Monday
Con	Last week Tuesday
CP	Close Friday

I requested column letters and row numbers. Please provide.

Please clarify "last week", "first week" and "close".

e.g. last week of month, last week of quarter, last week of what?

Keep in mind that we are sitting out here on the internet not having any idea of what is inside your head except for what you tell us. The more time we spend trying to figure out what you are asking for, the less time we can spend actually working on a solution.

In addition, when you say "automatically" you are asking for a lot. In order to accomplish this with Excel, there is going to have to be some action taken to initiate the email, such as opening the file once a day, changing the file once a day, etc. The sheet will need to calculate at least once a day in order to update the date and then compare the system date to the dates in your worksheet.

True automation may require a combination of Excel tasks and system tasks, such as batch job to open the file every day. Are you willing to go to such measures in order to accomplish your goal?
