Specs: Windows
My drop down list is column F and my values are in column D. When I use conditional formatting and enter the formula =SUMIF($F$4:$F$33,”Supllies”,$D$4:$D$33) and click apply the designated cell is blank. Can someone tell me what I’m missing?

I'm confused.

First, this may not matter, but do you have a misspelling in your formula? Do you really have a sheet named Supllies?

Most of us would spell it "Supplies".

Second, I don't understand why you say "When I use conditional formatting" and then show a SUMIF's formula. A formula for Conditional Formatting must resolve to TRUE or FALSE. A SUMIF formula is used to return a number.

What is it that you are trying to do?
