Sort Excel rows two at a time

Hi,

I am looking for a way to sort rows in a way that two rows correspond to each other and that two columns are the same.

For example, let's say we have this order:

Printing
5
Payroll
8
Escrow
3

That means 5 corresponds to Printing, 8 corresponds to Payroll and 3 corresponds to Escrow

If I have the following case:

Printing Escrow
5 3
Payroll Printing
8 5
Escrow Payroll
3 8

Is there any way to sort column two so its exactly the same as column 1? The numbers each correspond to each task. Thanks.

If Column 2 is going to look exactly the same as Column 1 why not just use a simple = formula?

=A1
=A2
=A3
etc.

Obviously there must be more to this than just a sort.
