There was no need to respond in the manner you did.
Since you don't know who the OP is sending the emails to or what the content is, you have no way of knowing whether or not "neatness" counts.
For example, if these emails are business related, sloppiness could result in a bad first impression and cost the OP business in the long run.
I could list a number of reasons why "neatness" counts in an email, but I'll simply say that since we don't know why the OP wants to compose his emails in that manner, we should do nothing more than answer his question - or perhaps ask for more details.
