Hi
I have a MS Word 2007 file with 10 pages numbered from 1 to 10. I want to print this file with page number 5 not shown in the print output. How can I do this?

Try something like this...it might take some playing around.

This is how it works in Word 2013

1 - Create your 10 page document
2 - Set your page numbers as you normally would
3 - Click before the first character position on Page 5
4 - On the Page Layout ribbon choose Breaks...Section Break...Next Page
(With paragraph marks displayed, you should see "Section Break...Next Page" at the bottom of Page 4, just above the Footer that contains your page number.)
5 - Double click inside the Footer of Page 5
6 - This should change the ribbon to "Header and Footer Tools...Design"
7 - Put a check mark in the box next to "Different First Page"

This should remove the "5" from the footer but leave all the other Page Numbers intact.

I want to print this file with page number 5 not shown in the print output.

Select Print and when the Print Window opens, in the middle left of the window
check the Page Range options.
You may be able to specify a Range or Section to print by using a Comma to
separate them. It may depend on your Printer, not sure.

No. You misunderstood my question.
Actually I want this page to be printed but without printing its "Page Number" which is 5.
Here it is like:
Page 1 to 4 = print and page number shown at the bottom i.e. 1, 2, 3 and 4
Page 5 = print but page number not to be shown
Page 6 to 10 = print and page number show at the bottom i.e. 6 , 7, 8, 9 and 10.

Can't you just delete the Page Number in the Footer on the page?
Sorry, I don't use Word often enough.
