Selecting Multiple Rows

Hi All
I have a list of names in one column in excel like -
bhushany
Balajiganapathi
tmsdhan

ready_to_loose
backersha
vishwa_k_r
bazaar
playwithsekhar
manoj644
ahuja2305
raghu_malnad
Sharbananda
nikhilg5
RVVS2009
Manish11

sunnypanackal
RVVS2009
santo11

In between i have empty cells too...
All i want is to copy data from multiples of 7 cells(like 7'th, 14'th, 21'th , 28'th..........cells) from this column and paste it in another column........pls help

I'm not sure how the mention of the empty cells is relevant here. You might have to explain that further.

In any case, if you want to "copy" Rows 7, 14, 21, etc. Enter this formula in Row 1 of any column:

=INDIRECT("A"&ROW()*7)

This assumes your original data is in Column A. Adjust as required.

In Row 1, Row()*7 will evaluate to 1*7 or =A7, in Row 2 this will evaluate to
2 * 7 or =A14, etc.

Look up the INDIRECT and ROW functions in Excel Help to see how they work.

And this formula works even if there is empty cells inbetween..........
