Specs: N/A
I am doing a paper in Microsoft word. When I spell check it is saying
The spelling and grammar check is complete.
"text marked with "Do not check spelling or grammar was skipped"
I know there are spelling errors. I put some in there purposely. I have been in the spelling options. Unchecked and rechecked. Reinstalled word.
How do I undo this "Do not check spelling or Grammar was skipped"

Have you tried a Diagnostic?

Running Microsoft Office Diagnostics from within Excel & Word

Click the Microsoft Office button
Click on the Excel/Word Options button to bring up the Excel Options dialog box (at the bottom of window)
Click on the Resources button in the left hand pane
Click on the Diagnose button in the right hand pane
Click Continue
Click Run Diagnostics

See what that shows.

Also, you can check some spelling options:

Click Review tab
In the Proofing Section
Select Set Language
Is the box unchecked next to the "Do not check spelling or grammar"?

Also,
Click Office Button
Select Word Options at bottom of window
Select Proofing
Make sure the box is checked next to "Check spelling as you type"
Make sure the box is checked next to "Use Contextual Spelling"

Make sure the box is unchecked next to "Hide spelling errors in this document only"
Make sure the box is unchecked next to "Hide grammar errors in this document only"

In one, the errors were found. but in the one ii am now writing, it is not finding any errors.

Could be the document itself, save a copy of your problem document as TEXT only.

Then open a new document and import the TEXT only document, that should eliminate any formatting that might be causing the problem.
