need to remove MS Office 97 but no longer have installation disk. Is it possible? How

Go into Control Panel, Programs & Features, select Microsoft Office and choose Uninstall - you don't need the disk.

Actually I have this same problem, and if you knew what you were talking about, you'd know that you DO need the disk, because it prompts you to insert it when you try to uninstall. Very unhelpful response.
