I was given a refurbished machine that was literally found on the street with Office 2010 Pro Plus preinstalled. The machines seem to be from a business that went bellyup as there were several identical machines together on the street. After a few weeks the time limit ran out and while the programs still run I get product activation failed messages. This means that I do not have and won’t be able to find the original activation keys. I see Microsoft does sell product keys for this version of office for $30. Would that reactivate the Office suite?. The reason I wonder is that the options from error messages expect that the machine will be reactivated via a corporate network. I am a single user
