Query in excel

I want to make a formula that sort of does a query in excel.

Here's what I want to do, I'm working with a soil data set. There are about 600 different soils and each soil has 3-6 layers. I want to be able to type in the soil and then get the soil-layer type in 6 different cells.

To clarify, I'm working with 3 columns

Column 1 - Measured soil (600 different ones)
Column 2 - Soil layer (1-6)
Column 3 - Soil type (about 15 different ones)

If I give an input of the measured soil and the layer I want it to display, I want my output to give what column 3 shows.

What I tried to do is this:
{=IF("Range of soils"="soil input";IF('"Range of soil layers"=1;"Range of soil types";"");"")} (input as an array)

So basically, if within the range of soils my soil input is found, see if the soil layer input is found and if yes, give the soil type.

Try this:

F7: Punta#
G7: Layer
F8: Lookup entry for Punta#
G8: Lookup entry for Layer
H8: =DGET(A1:C22,"Capa#", F7:G8)

You'll have to expand the lookup range from C22 to the full table.
