Pull specific words or numbers from a cell

PULL SPECIFIC WORDS OR NUMBERS FROM A CELL AND COPY TO A NEW ONE.

EX: PULL MET.76MM(8/32)BRUSH.NICK (IN CELL G3)

ALL I WANT IS: PULL 76MM BRUSH.NICK (COPY TO C3)

This will work for your specific example

=SUBSTITUTE(G3,"MET.76MM(8/32)","76MM ")

I'm assuming that you'll want to do this with more than just that string, so you may need to use a combination of text functions, such as LEFT, RIGHT, MID, FIND etc. to come up with a "generic" formula that works for all strings.

On the other hand, there may not be a single formula that works for all of your data.

Perhaps if you posted a few more examples, we might see a pattern that will help lead us to a single solution.
