Specs: Windows XP
I am trying to figure out if there is a program out there that I could use to copy pages from a book and then be able to edit the text afterwards.

What do you mean by copy? Do you mean scan the pages and place into Word Document format?

If you mean actually reproduce the pages in Word, then that would be a Copyright violation. Unless of course, you wrote the book. :)

Along with the copyright issue that Ms. Sumn mentioned, you might have another problem to deal with.

You can get scanning software that offers the option to scan the source as "editable text". However, even in the best of conditions, the results are far from perfect, especially if there is a lot of formatting, tables, etc. present in the source material.

In your case, I think the binder is going to be a issue. Whenever I've scanned a book (or even some magazines) you get a lot distortion at the binder and the scanning software can't determine what characters it sees.

Unless you plan to destroy the book by removing the pages or crushing the binder, you might not get easily editable results.

P.S. There's no need to post in all bold. Most of us can see well enough to read normal fonts.

Is "all bold" the new "all caps"?
