PowerPoint Printing Problem

Microsoft Office powerpoint v.2007
June 23, 2010 at 07:11:54
Specs: Windows XP
When I print a presentation, only half of certain
slides show up. For example, all of the
pictures, text, and graphs appear on the right
side, but the whole left side is completely
white. It just started this the other day, but
the same presentation printed fine a week ago.
I re-installed the driver for my printer and still
had the same error. There were no white
boxes or anything on the presentation that
could have accidentally covered up all my
pictures and text. Any help would be greatly

This won't be much help, but whenever we have problems related to printing PPT files, it is always the fault of the printer driver.

That said, have you tried copying the slides from the offending presentation to a new one and then printing them?

For fun, you could try both manually Copying them and also try the Insert...Slides From Files feature.

Maybe there is some corruption in the presentation itself and copying and/or inserting them into a new file might help.

Good luck!

It's weird. I definitely re-installed the driver. So I checked that
off. I also tried copying the slides to a new presentation and the
same issue on the same slide occurred. I even tried typing it up
again but still had the same issue. Only way I can print
everything is if I print it to a PDF file and print it off. I'll try making
a whole new presentation and see what happens. Thank you!
