Outlook 2013 adds blank lines to email

Toshiba / Qosmio 70

Specs: Windows 8.1, i7, 12Gig Ram
I have 2 users on my laptop (wife/self) running Windows 8.1, Outlook 2013 for email (pop3). When you log in to my wife’s user ID and create an email, it displays perfectly as typed. We use HTML format not rich text… When the email is received, it has added single and double spaces between the lines. If you type and send that same email from my user ID, it is received the exact same way it was typed.

I have looked at every place possible to see where there is an option that may be causing this issue. I have compared my settings to hers and they look the same.

Any thoughts??

Last ditch effort… Is there a way to make WORD 2013 the default email editor in Outlook 2013? As it was done in the earlier versions of Outlook. I know they say that they took the best points of Word and put them in the Outlook 2013 default editor… Sure RIGHT!

Uhmm,., I'm not sure.. But you can write down everything in Word, select all of it (ctlr + a) then paste it in Outlook..

No idea re' the extra line/spaces etc. problem... Not using Office 2013 (still on 2010/2011 depending on which system/OS I'm using...).

But this discussion deals with it and seems to offer "some" resolution...

Default editor: these two links may be of interest?

The first is some general "stuff" - and the second is specific to setting Word 2013 as default editor for Outlook 2013...
