OUtlook 2002 does not show Office 7 attachmen

Microsoft Outlook 2002 (full product)

Specs: Windows XP
Recently my Outlook 2002 stopped showing attachments (pdfs and Windows 7). It is confusing as it appears that the sender omitted the attachments. I can go to the home site on the Internet (Go Daddy) and see the email before it was forwarded to Outlook and see the attachments (and get them) there. This is not a convenient way to function, of course. A previous question on your site addressed this and was dismissed. It is a real problem.

Ok, first of all are you running windows XP or 7, as your post states windows 7 but your description states windows XP. This will be important determing the problem at-hand.

Secondly, have you changed the computer in any way recently? Such as installing a new piece of software or update? If so, does removing the new software fix the problem?

Finally, have you applied the latest serive pack (SP3) and all updates to outlook 2002, as it is an old product and has various bugs in it that could cause this

What exactly is a "Windows 7" attachment? Windows 7 is an Operating System, not a file type.

What happens if you double-click on the message? Do you then see that there's an attachment? Can you see/open other file type attachments?
