I downloaded Open Office software, mostly to use it's spreadsheet. Now, I'm trying to print a spreadsheet, and it's not printing properly.
I have a total of 6 columns, but only 2 are printing on one page, and two column headings on another page.
I've looked at the Help section, and read various links on the Internet about doing it. I tried following the instructions, but when I choose Print Preview, nothing changes. For the life of me, I can't figure it out.
Can someone please post simple instructions?
Hi, You say I tried following the instructions, but when I choose Print Preview, nothing changes
... you haven't included the instructions you tried to follow.
Print Preview isn't included in OOo it's in MS Office.
OOo has Page Preview - did you use this and then use 'Format Page' - if so what did you change and what values did you use.I wasn't clear from your post as to whether Page Preview also showed only two columns per page or whether it showed all 6 columns on one page.
On a normal view (not Page Preview), from the menu bar Format - Page...
are the page size settings correct for you paper size (typically A4 21.0cm x 29.7cm or Letter 21.59cm x 27.94cm / 8.5 x 11.0 inches)What column widths have you set for the 6 columns you are using. Does the total width for the 6 columns exceed the paper width.
Regards
Sorry for not responding sooner. I haven't had the time to deal with this. When I do, I'll respond in detail. Thank you.
