Office 2010 Problem - Only prints last page

Specs: Microsoft Windows XP Professional, 2.672 GHz / 3063 MB
I recently uninstalled Office 2007 and installed Office 2010.
I use a HP Photosmart C6200 printer (used with Office 2007 - no problems).

For a week Word was printing just fine using the initial install defaults, except it would always print pages flipped backwards in the correct order.

Example: for a 10 page two sided document - first to print would be 9,10 with page 10 side facing wrong way so you would have to manually flip it around to be in the correct order for the document, then it would print 8,7 in the same way, and continue making this error throughout the document. It was a little annoying to have to flip all my pages manually, so I looked in the options and found something that let you print pages in reverse order, I tried that and ever since then ALL Office 2010 document print ONLY the last page of the document.

I have tried to change the reverse order option and looked for other options that might be affecting this, however, the only option I changed was in Word for reverse order printing. Nothing has worked. My current work-around is to print documents as Adobe pdf files and then print them from Adobe Reader - that prints the document in the correct way without any manual flipping on my part. I also print documents from the web and they print correctly, and I use software to make worksheets and they always print correctly. It is only when printing from Office 2010 that I have this problem.

I noticed someone mentioned this problem back in January, but did not provide much information. Please let me know if you need more.

Thank you

Thank you for the reply Mike.

I already tried this. Sorry for not making that clear in the previous post. I tried working with both the printer and MS Office 2010 before giving up.

Please note: ALL other software on the computer prints correctly without changing a single setting for the printer. The only software that prints incorrectly is MS Office 2010. (Other software: Adobe, Kuta, Firefox, IE, WordPad, NotePad, Smartboard Notebook, OpenOffice, I could go on...)

I did a repair of Office 2010 last night and I am back to the original problem where pages print flipped upside down, but at least they are all printing again. All other software is still working as expected.

When all else fails........
This is for Word, but it's the ADD-IN's that I'd be more interested in.

It could be your global template is corrupt or
there is an Add-in loading automatically in your Word Startup folder that is misconfigured or corrupt.
To check:
Go to Start
Click on Run.
Type winword.exe /a
This launches Word with a clean, empty template and no add-ins.
If Word works OK, it is probably either a bad file or a corrupt add-in,

To get a new clean template,
close Word and do a search of your computer for file and delete it.
If there is more than one, rename or delete ALL of them.
When you launch Word, it will look for and since it can't find it, it will recreate a new clean one.
Be aware that the file on XP is a hidden system file and may not show up when you do a search for it.
If you are unable to find it,
Go to My Computer
Click the Tools menu
Choose Folder Options.
Click on the View Tab
Put a check where it says, "Show hidden files and folders"
and uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"
and "Hide protected operating system files".

If you still can't find it, look here:
C:\Documents and Settings\<your user name>\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates

For your Add-ins:
On the Task Bar,
Templates and Add-Ins
Just uncheck them all and start Word with a new one checked until you run into trouble.
