Buy a USB CD/DVD drive. They're not that expensive.

as you might have noticed I have asked in my question that I am doubt full about usb drive. I do own a 16GB usb pen drive ! I was asking that if I copy the content of my Office 2007 professional DVD on to the usb pen drive, but someone told me that it might not work !
So do I need any mod cons for doing that ?

I don't think that copying the CD to a USB memory stick is going to work. I don't think that the install program will "find it". It can't hurt to try, other than the time wasted if it doesn't work.

What Jennifer was suggesting was that you purchase one of these types of drives to put the Office DVD in. Trust me, it will come in handy in the future.

I'm not recommending this particular drive, nor am I not recommending it. I'm just using it as an example of a solution to get your Office software installed. You can find them on eBay also.

Perhaps you could borrow one from a friend if you don't want to buy one.
