Obtain All Items In A List

Specs: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium, 2 GHz / 3061 MB
I have a long list of names, repeated, and with excel I want to obtain a set of all the posible names that are found in that list. any help with a formula on how to achieve this

When posting in a help forum, it's best to use a subject line that is relevant to the contents of the post.

If everyone posted with a subject line of "Microsoft Excel" we wouldn't be able to tell one question from another.

Select your list and click on Data...Filter...Advanced Filter.

In that dialog box, you can choose the options to:

1 - Copy to another location
2 - Unique records only

By choosing those 2 options, you will get a list of each unique item from your longer list.
