When was the last time you did something for the first time?

What Office version?

Do you get any error messages?

Are people receiving your emails?

Sometimes this symptom is down to server troubles.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Hi Derek. Thanks for responding. It was Outlook 2010. It's a secondhand computer with a business domain still running. I installed Office 365 but didn't like it so I uninstall it. End result wasall my emails were deleted and I couldn't receive or send any. Any email I tried to send ended up in the Outbox and got stuck there. I have now downloaded and configured Windows Live Mail and all is well. Regards.
