Solved Need to get the real cell value

Specs: Windows XP
Dear colleagues.
I am using in Excel the following funtion:
=IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(Q2,$P$2:$P$18197,2,FALSE)),"","Yes")
Is there any possibility to get the real cell value, instead of just a "Yes" ?
Thank you
Ed

Try something like:

=IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(Q2,$P$2:$P$18197,2,FALSE)),"",VLOOKUP(Q2,$P$2:$P$18197,2,FALSE))

Mike,
Thanks for the reply, for some reason it did not work, I only got #N/A error messages. I do not know what's wrong with my Excel functions.

The N/A error is usually shown because some data is missing,
or there are inappropriate arguments in the lookup function.

In your case, your table array is only a single column: $P$2:$P$18197
but your trying to get data from column 2, which would be Q column.

So your table array should probably be: $P$2:$Q$18197
