I have Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 that I got years ago. I can't find the CD's and the product key. I upgraded to Windows 10 and now when I open up office I get prompted with the "Microsoft Product Activation Wizard" and the header box on Word turns to bold red displaying "...(Product Activation Failed)." How do I disable/deactivate this? Ideally, I'd like to completely disconnect my Office programs from online connectivity.

Thanks, but I'd rather not have to go through the hassle - looking for a way to solve the problem from home.

Have you checked for Windows updates? I know there was an Office activation problem that was fixed with an update. I don't remember the update number, but make sure you have all updates installed.

Doing the best I can here... And remember, there's always more than one path to success. :)
