I am trying to create a construction type calculator for an estimating application.
the way i invision it is in the qty column i highlight a cell then click on the open form button, then in put the information then click on the OK button in the form and then the number goes back to the high lighted cell.
so far i have gotten every thing to work up to the point the information is sent back to the high lighted cell, here the code

Private Sub OKButton_Click()
' sends calc qty to Item form to the qty box then closes the form
If optSelectCount = True Then 'Count
Worksheets("Sheet1").Activate = Val(txtC.Text)
ElseIf optSelectLength = True Then
Worksheets("Sheet1").Activate = Val(txtL.Text)
ElseIf optSelectArea = True Then
Worksheets("Sheet1").Activate = Val(txtA.Text)
ElseIf optSelectVolume = True Then
Worksheets("Sheet1").Activate = Val(txtV.Text)

End If

Unload frmCalc
Set frmCalc = Nothing

End Sub

Maybe I'm missing something, but what's wrong with using Application.ActiveCell?
