Matching multiple columns in excel

Microsoft Office excel 2007 - upgrade
January 14, 2011 at 08:01:54
Specs: Windows XP
I have one spreadsheet that has 8 columns of data. The 4 first contain the same heading as the second 4. A= Account # B= Full Name C= Payment Date D= Payment Amount E= Account # F= full Name G= Payment date H= Payment Amount.

What I need is a formula that will match all 4 columns in 1 row 1 to the next four columns in 1
Problem I am having is that my 2nd 4 Columns have more data and than the first. So it has to be an exact match of everything. If I could delete the data that doesn't match that would be better.

Example :
A B C D E F G H
Acct # Full Name Pymt Date Pymt Amt Acct # Full Name Pymt Date Pymt Amt
12456 John Smith 12/4/2010 150 12387 John Doe 12/10/2010 200
12387 John Doe 12/10/2010 200 12387 John Doe 12/15/2010 200
54531 Jane Smith 12/8/2010 300 56423 Jenny Smith 12/4/2010 762
54654 Jane Doe 12/6/2010 400 56423 Jenny Smith 12/10/2010 762
56423 Jenny Smit 12/4/2010 762 56432 Dave Doe 12/9/2010 435
54651 Dave Smith 12/7/2010 423 56432 Dave Doe 12/15/2010 435
56432 Dave Doe 12/9/2010 435 56432 Dave Doe 12/20/2010 435
56432 Dave Doe 12/28/2010 435
54531 Jane Smith 12/2/2010 300
54531 Jane Smith 12/8/2010 300
54531 Jane Smith 12/20/2010 300
So it would be great if I could delete the rows from E-H that don't match exact to A-D

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please read the How To referenced in my signature line and then repost your data in table format.

It's a little difficult for us to tell what data is in what column.

Make sure you include Column Letters and Row Numbers so we can reference the correct cell if we have further questions.

Thanks!
