t049r01w4 t050r01w4 Y

t049r02w4 t050r02w4 Y

t050r01w4 t050r04w4

t050r02w4 t050r06w4

t050r03w4 t063r02w4 Y

t062r02w4

t063r02w4

t063r03w4

Try this in C1 and copy down =IF(ISERROR(MATCH(B1,$A$1:$A$100,0)),"","Y")

I've set it for 100 cells in column A

MIKE

Hi Mike, Thanks for your help. That's exactly what I'm looking for. I thought of using something like MATCH, VLOOKUP etc. But I'm not sure how to set them up. Anyway thanks again and have a nice day.

Glad I could help.

Also, just so you know there is a Conditional Formatting solution to your problem that will highlight the matching/non matching numbers.MIKE
