 I need to ask that no doubt it calculated exactly right but one thing to clearify that how would i determine the markup value for those entries which are in the same date. I mean to say f there are more than one entry in some specific day like once 10000 debited than in the same day two more entries also exist like 2000 and 50041 . than it would calculate days for the first entry only .while i need to get it calculated days on the last entry of the same date . so that markup must get calculated on the closing balance of the last entry in that day with the difference of number of days please.Like 04/08/2014 10,000.00 0.00 10,826,166.16 05/08/2014 7,800.00 0.00 10,833,966.16 05/08/2014 15,000.00 0.00 10,848,966.16 05/08/2014 1,912.00 0.00 10,850,878.16 06/08/2014 10,000.00 10,860,878.16 06/08/2014 5,000.00 10,865,878.16 07/08/2014 23,809.00 10,889,687.16 07/08/2014 180,000.00 11,069,687.16 08/08/2014 5,000.00 11,074,687.16

 Not sure what your trying to sum. Are you Summing Across rows or Down Columnsor some other combination?Please read this HOW-TO which explains the use of the < PRE > tagshttp://www.computing.net/howtos/sho...which allows you to align your data so it look like:``` A B C D 1) 04/08/2014 10,000.00 0 10,826,166.16 2) 05/08/2014 7,800.00 0 10,833,966.16 3) 05/08/2014 15,000.00 0 10,848,966.16 4) 05/08/2014 1,912.00 0 10,850,878.16 5) 06/08/2014 10,000.00 10,860,878.16 6) 06/08/2014 5,000.00 10,865,878.16 7) 07/08/2014 23,809.00 10,889,687.16 8) 07/08/2014 180,000.00 11,069,687.16 9) 08/08/2014 5,000.00 11,074,687.16 ```NOTE: Use Column Letters and Row Numbers.Give a before & after example. But, I'm guessing that a SUMIF() should get you what your looking for.MIKEhttp://www.skeptic.com/
