Solved Is there an Adobe Reader DC clone that will edit PDFs?

I need to edit PDFs. When I went to the Adobe website, I was surprised that Adobe Reader DC (which can edit PDfs) is now a subscription service. I do not need to subscribe for their minimum length of service. Is there a clone of Adobe Reader DC that is free and will allow me to edit PDFs?

Thank you.

Johnw,

Thank you for your response. I’ll download and try PDF-XChange Viewer.

Adobe Reader DC is just as the name implies, a PDF "reader". If you want to edit PDFs, you'd need Adobe Acrobat DC which you'd have to purchase.
