|Is this Outlook 2010 or 2016? In Outlook 2010, go to File, Options, Search, Indexing Options. There you can see the Indexing and change/force/troubleshoot Indexing issues.|
I don't currently have access to a system with Outlook 2016, but you should still be able to find that setting from the Options Menu.
