Specs: Windows XP
What is the formula to return the value of "NA" if column A say "North America", "EU" if column A says "Europe"and "APAC" if column A says "Asia Pacific".
column has is a list of Countries-
Europe
North America
North America
Asia Pacific
Europe
Asia Pacific
North America

If those 3 entries are all you have, you could use an IF function.

If your list is considerably longer than that, then VLOOKUP is probably better.

This formula assumes that your cell contains one of those 3 choices.

=IF(A1="Europe", "EU",IF(A1="North America","NA","APAC"))
