=IF(H3>=90,"A+",IF(90>H3>=80,"A",IF(80>H3>=75,"-A",IF(75>H3>=65,"B+",IF(65>H3>=55,"B",IF(55>H3>=45,"-B",IF(45>H3>=30,"C","-C")))))))
i want correct formula... please help me

Sorry can't make out how your marking.

Is this correct?

90+ equal A+
80 thru 89 equals A
75 thru 79 equals A-
65 thru 74 equals B+
55 thru 64 equals B
45 thru 54 equals B-
30 thru 44 equals C
Less than 30 C-

Try this:

=IF(ISBLANK(H3),"",IF(H3<=30,"C-",IF(H3<=44,"C",IF(H3<=54,"B-",IF(H3<=64,"B",IF(H3<=74,"B+",IF(H3<=79,"A-",IF(H3<=89,"A",IF(H3>=90,"A+","")))))))))

You have to be using 2007 or above, else there are too many nested =IF()'s

Seems to me that it would be easier to set up a table and and use VLOOKUP with the range_lookup argument set to TRUE or 1.
