Solved I can't switch off hyperlink warnings word 2010

November 22, 2014 at 00:23:31
Specs: Windows 7 64 bit, intel i5 2320
My set up, win7_64bit , Intel i5 2320 at 3GHz
My problem: I'm learning chinese and need to link the text phrase to the chinese. mp3 .
So on a given page I read then call the phrase mp3. But at the same time before i can listen I get this horrible nagging hyperlink warning... something like Amy Winehouse, no, no, no

Steps trying to stop the unwanted security messsage
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not able to switch off hyperlink warnings in word2010 after trying
a) Trust centre.
b) Modify reg adding Security
c) adding HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Common\Security\\DisableHyperlinkWarning
d) Setting to 1, or 0x0001 or binary 1

In all cases the registry doesn't complain but the warning keeps on appearing

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
None of these 'cures' work for me. Also judging by the internet correspondence. It is not working for a lot of other win7 users either.

Q1 Is there a patch that actually does something?

Help please .

Many thanks phil22.
I think I have sieved the internet on this topic sufficiently and you are in the mainstream of constructive suggestions. They don't work for me.
Just one comment on fixit.
I did as ordered, downloaded it and ran it.
Result:- Fixit didn't install .

Reason???. Was Fixit for another operating system but didn't say why?
I thought well maybe it was not for my win7 64 bit , or perhaps great for XP, or as my PC runs in Spanish some language issue...?''

Anyway as I was more than fed up I stopped to think and read on Embedding.
I immediately could put all my little Chinese phrases into embedded '.wav' objects .
But my main .docx file was growing fast in size.
I wondered if I could use MP3 instead of WAV. I could and my docx shrank to moderate dimensions for Whatsapp.

I can see two plusses for embedding.
1. No warning messages any more.
2. You can lose a linked mp3 but when it is embedded impossible to lose it,

The way to go.
Bye all
My problem is solved
