Solved I can't save a new document in Apache Open Office

I can't save a new document or amend one. I get a box saying: c/users/(myname)/Documents/document.odt File not found Check the file name + try again if I uninstall Apache Open Office will I lose all the documents that are saved to my computer? If I install another program such as Microsoft word will I be able to access the files through that automatically.
