Solved I can't get my formula to show in cell it changs to the date

Specs: Windows 64
I have to calculate the number of days that a property was on the market, and I must show the formula in the prefered cell, however the date to the formula shows and not the actual formula. Please help

The only way to show a "formula" in a cell is to tell Excel that the value in the cell is Text. You can do this by putting a single quote before the value, e.g.

'=SUM(A1:A5)

Of course, since the value in the cell is now Text, it will not be evaluated by Excel. In other words, it's no longer a formula.

You can't have it both ways.
