Solved How to use seperate VLookup Tables based on an If Statement

December 2, 2016 at 12:55:02
Specs: Windows 10
My scenario is that I need a formula that supports:

Validating Column R = Blue
Then If Blue - VLookUp from Table1 and return column 2 result
If NOT =Blue - VLookup from Table 2 and return column 2 result

Can this be done?

✔ Best Answer
Without more specific information, like Row Number & Column Letters,
the best I can offer is that it would look something like:

=IF(A1="Blue",Vlookup(Table 1), Vlookup(Table 2))

If you mean that the cell color is Blue, then you will most likely need a Macro.

And Excel questions are best asked in the Office Software forum.
