Not sure what your asking?

Lotus Smartsuite is compatible with Win7 so just Copy / Paste should work.

Pretty sure Lotus won't run in 64 bit OS.

The normal solution is to export your work in lotus to some common format that newer systems can read. You may loose some features or have to fix a few things one complex expressions or visual issues.

It may be that openoffice can import them directly.

jefro,

According to the Win 7 Compatibility site,
Lotus Smartsuite, Version 9 is both 32 bit and 64 bit compatible.

Not sure what Lotus Smartsuite97 is.
If it's Lotus from 1997, then it's probably not compatible
If it's Smartsuite 9.7, then it is compatible.

All depends on what exactly the OP has.

Just did a quick Google, which I probably should have done before,
but it appears that Lotus Smartsuite97 is from 1997,
so the OP will have to export to a common format or
perhaps upgrade to Smarsuite version 9,
which may or may not have a migration path.
