Hi there,
It's been a while since I've asked for help, but this has given me a headache
I have a number of sheets with various colours in the cells. I want to try this on one sheet only

All cells in Row 1 within a Range, that are Green to be flagged with "x"

Any ideas?

What do you mean by to be flagged with "x"?

Do you want to put an x in those cells? What's in them now?

What caused them to turn green? Was it done by a fill color or conditional formatting or a macro or...?

Details, my friend, details. ;-)

Hi DD03,
Been a while
In Row1 I have various cells coloured green, by fill colour( cant remember the color code but something like 5246758(, What I would like to do is with each cell that is green is mark with the reference "x". There is nothing in them at the moment
I have tried to create a vba but just couldn't crack it
I eventually went another route using function IF to surpass the problem I have
This has allowed me to carry out the functionality I wanted
It would still be nice to know what vba coding would be required

Hope you are well buddy

I'm doing well, thanks for asking. Hope all is well with you and yours.

I don't have access to VBA right now, but this what I would try:

DAGS for something like 'VBA to determine fill color'

Run that code to find out what the actual fill color is of one of the green cells (it used to easier when there was only 56 colors) You can get right down to the RGB numbers, fill patterns, shading, etc. if you want to depending on what code you use.

Then just loop through your cells with an If-Then loop looking for the same values for each property.
